The refrigerator coils on my Whirlpool fridge are really packed in tight with a very narrow opening to access them for cleaning. I bought the 12.5 mm diameter brush. This small diameter brush just barely fits to get to some of the deeper coils. However, since the brush is only about 6" long, it can't reach far enough in. I had to attach the brush to a flexible fiberglass rod with Gorilla tape in order to use it. After that it worked ok. The brush has male threads, but there's no offer of a connecting rod that would make it useful. By itself, it's not useful, but if you can cobble something together, it works.
