It works really great i tried other things and it didn’t get it clean like these do so definitely happy with the purchaseThis is a great little set of cleaning tools designed for earbuds, but can be used for other small electronics as well. I especially love the brush, it helps keep the dust out of my old iPhone 4 that I use to play music. It’s great for cleaning the ear tips and charging cases. Great set to have on hand! This is a great example of an item you may have known you needed.I honestly wasn’t sure about something like this and was unsure of posting the Before/After. Well after maybe 5 minutes the AirPods and case were noticeably better. You kind of don’t realize how messy they can get until they’re pretty bad even if they’re always in a case. The price is great in my opinion and combination of this tool and a damp paper towel to wipe off the pick tool, it’s very easy to use. Few more minutes and I’m sure I could make the case look like new.I also was able to use the pick to pull out lint from the charging port on our phone (we primarily use wireless chargers). Alone with scraping off debris. Very nice tool to have around and especially at a nice price.A must have tool for owners of earbuds. Good for the nooks and crannies of the cases and the earbuds themselves. So far, it’s been a lifesaver for several occasions when I sometimes drop them, and they accumulate debris. Also good for your phone’s hard to reach pleases, but for your phone, use with caution, as some spots places are more sensitive than others. But otherwise, I recommend this product.When your kids barrow your earphones and you get them back in they’re all gunned up, this is the must have. I don’t feel like I need to describe anything further. They work in their under $10 so you’re not out much regardlessThis is shaped like a pen. If you pull off one end, you get something that looks like a boom mike that's long and fuzzy enough to clean out most earbud battery cases. If you pull off the other end, there's a spike for lightly scratching off gunk and a brush to brush it away. If you pull off the very tip of one end, there's another brush that will get between the keys on your keyboard. Or you can also brush gunk away with it if you'd like.This is good. It's $8 today, which is within the range this should be. Everything is constructed well, and the bits are actually useful. It also fits easily in a bag or wherever you want to store pens that you take with you.I have every kind of earbuds out there and the ones i use the most of course need a little cleaning....of course i clean my ears daily but every so often there's something not wanted in the earbuds.This cleaning tool did the trick on my apple pro AirPods. those little rubber things really can be a magnet for ear wax. I use then at the gym so i constantly clean them using the disinfectant spray and paper towels that is at the gym. But every now and again there's a crusty inside them. The little pin part of the tool grabs it right our and then you can use the brush to get any dust.The sponge, duster works great for the inside of the pods charging case too. so you get to clean everything with this all in one tool. it looks like a pen so its compact and easy to keep handy.The brushes didn't seem to be dirty, just some brown smudging on the outside of the pen. It wiped away easily, so I didn't give it too much thought. Bad first impression, though.One end of the pen was incredibly hard to open initially. Once I finally got it pried off (and I do mean pried) I swapped the caps around and that seems to have helped it not happen again.The tools seem to work fine. My earbuds weren't -that- dirty so I couldn't really put them to the full test. I wish I'd gotten ahold of my mom's BT headset before she cleaned it. She apparently thought it died it was so clogged up. Cleaning your earbuds can help restore them to functionality and it just feels better. I liked that this particular cleaner tool came with the 1 extra brush (on the side with the split cap).The worst thing and the reason for two stars for me is that due to the positioning of the high density brush and the collar of the metal nib, I scratched up my Skullcandy charging case. I was trying to use the high density brush to clean the port, but I angled it enough that the neck of the metal point was barely touching the surface and that was enough to scratch it. Seems like a big design oversight. A little sleeve or sealant around that area would do wonders. Thankfully the scratches aren't that noticeable, but I'd still for sure have preferred a lightly dirty port to them :/
