I am very happy to have found these cloths. Believe the claims made for this product, for they are all true. For me, they outperform kitchen sponges for most sponge functions, and they will dramatically cut down on your use of paper towels. Bamboo is an amazing material -- unexpectedly durable and naturally antimicrobial -- and whoever thought of and succeeded in making wiping cloths with it should get a science prize of some kind.That's pretty much all you need to know. Buy these things; you won't be disappointed. I have, however, a little history with this product, which might be of interest to some of you.I don't know anything about Bamology (I thought at first that it was the study of Emeril Lagasse) but this supplier is my third or fourth for this particular product. Every few years, some company "discovers" this invention and puts in on the market. In a matter of time, however, the product is discontinued or the company goes out of business.One of my early suppliers offered an explanation: the cloths last too long. This is good news for the consumer, but it does not bode well for repeat business. And there is only so much a seller can charge for a cleaning cloth. That aforementioned supplier told me one of his customers used one cloth for three years. THREE YEARS! Now, I think that's really stretching things -- these cloths actually don't fall apart, but they do get perforated with gradually enlarging holes and become difficult to handle after, for me, a few months.Sellers of this product clearly need to give some thought to widening potential markets. I would, just as a quick thought, go after the food industry writ large. Were I a sushi chef, for example, I would be using one of these cloths to wipe my knife and work surface. That's a lot of wiping on a daily basis.But kudos to Bamology for keeping me supplied with these cloths. I promise to replace them more often.
